Two decades later, pop justice is served! Fergie and ‘Too Much’ star Megan Stalter team up to reshoot the iconic ‘London Bridge’ music video and this time on the actual London Bridge.

The revamped visual celebrated the launch of Netflix’s buzzy new rom-com ‘Too Much’ created by Lean Dunham and led by Stalter as an American in London falling for an indie heartthrob played by Will Sharpe.

Originally filmed on Tower Bridge back in 2006, the updated video corrects the long standing mix-up and ties perfectly into the series’ themes of chaos, reinvention and cultural confusion. Speaking on the reshoot of her music video, Fergie said:

“As an American girl who once had her own adventures in London while filming the video for ‘London Bridge,’ I instantly felt a connection to this project. Being that the series was written and directed by Lena Dunham and starring the brilliant Megan Stalter about an American girl navigating her own London experience — my creative soul couldn’t say no. Lena told me ‘London Bridge’ was the only song she could imagine introducing the show, and I couldn’t have been more honored. So off we went to London to reimagine the original ‘London Bridge’ video — only this time, we did it right. Twenty years later, we finally filmed on the actual (albeit slightly messier) London Bridge, because what isn’t ‘too much’ about filming a video for a song you already have a video for.”
