Diddy is facing yet another major legal hurdle.

The embattled music mogul is reportedly headed toward a civil trial tied to allegations that he dangled creative director Bryana “Bana” Bongolan over a 17th-floor balcony during an alleged 2016 incident at Cassie’s Los Angeles apartment.

Bongolan, a close friend of the singer, previously testified during Combs’ federal criminal proceedings and has accused the Bad Boy founder of leaving her with lasting physical and emotional trauma.

According to reports, a federal court in Los Angeles is now moving the lawsuit toward a potential jury trial scheduled for May 2027. Combs, alongside Bad Boy Entertainment LLC and his CeOpco LLC entity, are named as defendants.

The lawsuit alleges the Hip-Hop figure held Bongolan over the balcony for roughly 15 seconds before throwing her back onto the patio. She claims the alleged assault resulted in bruising, back and neck pain, and ongoing psychological distress.

During testimony connected to Combs’ criminal case, Bongolan reportedly spoke about suffering recurring nightmares linked to the alleged incident. Defense attorneys pushed back on her claims and accused her of drug use at the time, which she denied.

The latest development adds to the mounting list of legal issues facing the 56-year-old, who is also battling multiple other civil lawsuits while appealing his federal conviction tied to Mann Act violations.
