Demi Lovato plans on keeping her beloved fans (affectionately called #Lovatics) well-fed figuratively and literally.
Just days after unleashing her new song ‘Here All Night,’ the follow-up to ‘Fast‘ (deemed her official return to Pop after 2022’s Rock-leaning ‘Holy Fvck‘), Lovato’s announced the duo of tunes’ official parent album: ‘It’s Not That Deep’ (cover seen above).
Her ninth studio effort, ‘Deep’ is executive produced by producer extraordinaire Zhone and is set to be delivered courtesy of DLG Recordings/Island Records on October 24.
“This music is a perfect reflection of where I’m at today,” Lovato said in a press statement. “I had such an incredible time making this album with Zhone, and it was such a freeing experience to let loose and have fun with it. With my past eras, I often wrote cathartic music about heavy topics that I needed to process. When I got back in the studio this time around, those songs just weren’t resonating anymore because I’m not in that place in life. I’m happy, I’m in love, and I just want to enjoy life and have fun. I realized it’s not that deep anymore, and that became the ethos for this album. ‘It’s Not That Deep’ is meant for late nights and dancefloors, and I can’t wait for you all to dance with me.”
We’ll keep our eyes and ears peeled to see if ‘Deep’ will get a supportive tour given the Pop diva claimed the ‘Fvck Tour‘ would be her last.
The 11-song project will come just five months ahead of Lovato’s inaugural cookbook ‘One Plate at a Time.’
Boasting a collection of more than eighty recipes, the recipe set is branded as “simple yet memorable favorites anyone can make” ranging from breakfast to dinner, comfort foods, soups, salads, and more.
Published by Flatiron Books, ‘Plate’ is available for pre-order now and slated to land on bookshelves on March 31, 2026.
