Cardi B‘s new album is christened ‘Am I The Drama?’ and it’s proving all too apt. For, the rapper brought the drama to longtime foe Rah Ali during a chance encounter in Cannes.

It’s no secret that there is no love lost between the pair.

Indeed, their alleged physical altercation at the 2018 Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party is still debated on social media to this day. It was, of course, the same party in which Cardi and Nicki Minaj clashed, with the former throwing a shoe at the ‘FTCU’ femcee.

Their feud was flung back into the spotlight when Rah took to the On Site podcast to share that she ran into Cardi in Cannes.

Addressing the narrative on X Spaces, Cardi confirmed that the airport run-in did happen, but went differently.

She told listeners:

“She was looking at me like she want it, that’s when I started arguing with her, and she’s telling me ‘you need to grow up.’ So, that’s when I threw a JBL speaker on her head.”

Responding to Cardi’s words, Rah wrote:

“I will always be ready to protect myself at all cost, however at this stage in my life I’m not interested in making poor choices. Anything and everything I execute is thoroughly calculated.

With that being said, had anyone in this whole world hit ME in my head with a speaker, you in fact would be viewing footage of me in handcuffs. I promise to God that did not happen.”
