Boyz II Men may be hot on the promo trail in support of their recently announced tour with Toni Braxton and New Edition, but the hitmakers still made time to address recent beef they have with another legendary 90’s trio: TLC (namely member Chilli).

While chatting it up with The Breakfast Club on Thursday (October 30), B2M (comprised of members Wanya Morris, Nathan Morris, and Shawn Stockman) dished on everything from the upcoming ‘The New Edition Way Tour’ to their forthcoming biopic and more.

Toward the end of the convo, Wanya decided to reflect on that resurfaced viral Chilli (born Rozanda Thomas) clip in which she alleged the then-quartet once claimed they didn’t need Babyface for success.

“When someone is saying we said something as specific about a friend of ours…we just talked to him yesterday,” Wanya shared before addressing why he’s addressing Chilli now. “I’ve got time. I got a messed up knee…I was sitting on the damn couch, I couldn’t get up, I couldn’t drive, I was watching cartoons and playing Playstation. I saw that sh-t and though ‘hmm…this will be fun.'”

Later in his rant, Wanya reflected on the comment he left on the resurfaced video in question – being sure to point out that while he never said anything derogatory to Chilli and that he “loves TLC,” he stands firm that what she said was a “lie.”

“[They said], ‘We don’t need Babyface,’ and that was the end,” Chilli said in the old interview, which was posted to NostalgiaMoments on October 20.“It’s not that this artist did not have any talent, but because he was thinking he could do it on his own, that’s where he failed. As long as you’re living there’s always something to learn.”
