Ariana Grande is peeling back layers on her forthcoming album, ‘Petal,’ and by the sound of it, fans should brace for her boldest era yet.

Taking to Instagram, the Pop superstar opened up about the creative energy fuelling the project and hinted that this chapter sees her stepping into far less filtered territory. She shares:

“It’s a little feral as well. It’s definitely from a place that I have been maybe like too shy or polite to tap into before, and this kind of just feels like, f**k it.”

According to the singer-actress, the songs are intentionally personal but designed in a way that listeners can connect to through their own experiences.

‘Petal’ arrives July 31 and serves as the follow-up to her chart-topping album ‘Eternal Sunshine.’

Before then, Grande will launch her long-awaited ‘Eternal Sunshine Tour’ in June, her first major trek in seven years, before wrapping with a multi-night run at London’s O2 arena.
