While gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, ‘Moses The Black’, the Rap mogul spoke at a recent screening about the entertainment industry and the risks of mixing personal beliefs with public platforms.

In a joking but reflective moment, 50 referenced Nicki Minaj and Kanye West as recent examples who have both been making headlines for voicing their opinion.

He shared:

“There’s two things they tell you to stay away from.

They tell you to stay away from religion and stay away from politics, because no matter what you think, someone passionately disagrees with you. I stay away from those things. That’s how Kanye f**ked up. Then Nicki said some sh*t. It feels crazy, but it is very accurate.”

The two have a long-standing history, with 50 appearing on Nicki’s ‘Pink Friday 2 Tour’ and contributing to her latest album. 

His relationship with West, however, has long been complicated, marked by public disagreements and tension over the years.
