Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, the woman accused of recently shooting an AR-style rifle at the Beverly Hills mansion of Pop star-business mogul Rihanna, pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from the incident including attempted murder.

Taking to Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (March 25), Ortiz entered her plea of not guilty to charges of attempted murder, 10 felony counts of assault with an semiautomatic firearm, and 3 felony counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling.

Currently facing life in prison if convicted of the crimes, the 35-year-old woman is being held on $1.9 million bail.

According to the Associated Press, her public defender’s request said bail be reduced to $70,000 based on her inability to pay was declined by the judge.

As previously reported, Ortiz is accused of opening fire with a semiautomatic rifle at the Rih shares with her partner A$AP Rocky and their three children on March 8.

The family was home at the time of the incident, but no one was harmed.

At writing, the shooter’s motive remains unclear.
