Day26 singer Willie Taylor is making bold claims.

For, he has declared that his group would have easily defeated B2K and Pretty Ricky in a Verzuz battle.

The comments came after the groups faced off in a hit-for-hit Verzuz match-up on Thursday night (June 25). 

As is a constant, opinions were divided, though many claim Pretty Ricky triumphed.

Taylor took to Instagram to share his thoughts. He wrote:

“Honestly Speaking, We would have SMOKED both Groups Tonight!!!! SMOKED!! Great Show tonight fellas. But for what verzuz consist of easy Work!!!”

He later doubled down in a video, explaining his game plan. Taylor added:

“If you play the acoustic guitar, we gon’ sing that s**t better than you. It would’ve been a long night.”

Taylor also praised both groups, calling them “brothers” and saying he enjoyed the show. Nevertheless, he insisted Day26 would have won.

Fans had mixed reactions. Some agreed with Taylor, while others dismissed his claims. One commenter wrote, “Day26 don’t top them. Sorry lol.”

Taylor said the Verzuz didn’t need back-and-forth disses. He joked about Day26 going “belt to a**” on both groups.

All three groups rose to prominence during the 00s, though, ironically, they were active at different points in the decade.
