Will Smith is officially assembling the cast for his big-screen venture.

The Oscar winner has secured his first major co-star for ‘Supermax,’ with AnnaSophia Robb signing on to star opposite him in the upcoming thriller.

Directed by David Gordon Green, the film follows a pair of detectives who venture inside a notorious supermax prison to investigate a mysterious murder, with Robb set to play Smith’s young investigative partner.

The project marks another major move for Smith as he continues expanding his post-‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die‘ slate, with ‘Supermax’ set to debut in more than 240 countries and territories via Prime Video.

Meanwhile, Robb adds this new flick to her various roles from her breakout ‘Bridge to Terabithia‘ to ‘Sex and the City‘ prequel ‘The Carrie Diaries.’

Production and release dates are yet to be revealed.
