Vybz Kartel and Mavado are set to bring one of Dancehall’s most storied rivalries to London’s O2 Arena tonight (September 9).

Indeed, the spectacle will see the Jamaican titans unite for ‘Gaza Vs Gully Live,’ marking the first time in 18 years that the pair have shared the stage.

And with almost two decades of history attached to their names, the stage is set for a seismic celebration.

Kartel and Mavado’s famous Gaza Vs Gully rivalry became one of the defining chapters of modern Dancehall, with their much-discussed 2006 showdown at Jamaica’s Sting festival cementing its place in the genre’s history.

Fast forward to 2026 and the one-time rivals are putting the clash behind them, transforming that history into a collaborative celebration on one of London’s biggest stages.

The show arrives during a major period for Kartel, who was presented with the MOBO Impact Award last year and went on to win Best Caribbean Music Act at the 2026 ceremony.

For longtime followers of both stars, however, tonight’s draw is simple: two towering forces in Dancehall, one stage, and 18 years of history coming full circle.
