Victoria Monét is making sure fans know there’s more to the rollout than meets the eye.

The Grammy-winning R&B star is gearing up to drop her new single ‘Juicy‘ this Thursday (Sept. 10), but after one social media user questioned the increasingly short notice surrounding the new music release, Monét was quick to defend her approach.

The user reposted an announcement post on X and asked:

“Why are musicians dropping songs with two days notice? Bring back proper rollouts.”

Monét responded by highlighting the work that has already gone into introducing the track to fans. She revealed:

“I performed Juicy for 20+ shows on the Romantic Tour. Been teasing it for weeks using a hotline I created that gives a longer snippet too…you should call it 916-546-9240. And after months of notice, I am putting it out. No shortcut to a rollout was taken; sending you love!”

The release comes as Monét continues her new era ahead of ‘Frequency of Love,’ due October 2, and on the heels of joining Bruno Mars on the ‘Romantic Tour.’
