Tyra Banks is making her way back to the runway.

The media mogul has been unveiled as a recurring judge on Season 22 of ‘Project Runway’, which premieres next month.

The newly released trailer for the fashion competition series sees Banks joining returning stars Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Law Roach, and mentor Christian Siriano for what is being billed as the biggest season yet.

The appearance marks a return for the former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ host, who previously served as a guest judge during Season 21.

Season 22 will feature 22 designers competing for top honors, with celebrity guest judges including Ciara, Ice Spice, Iman, Niecy Nash, Winnie Harlow, and more.

The announcement arrives amid Banks’ ongoing legal battle surrounding the docuseries ‘Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model’.

As reported, the supermodel filed a lawsuit alleging the series presented a false and defamatory portrayal of her. According to court filings, Banks claims only around 16 minutes of her interview footage was ultimately used and that her comments were edited and taken out of context to support a narrative she says does not reflect what she actually expressed.

Now, with a fresh television role on one of fashion’s most recognizable franchises, Banks is adding another high-profile chapter to her long-running career.

Season 22 of ‘Project Runway’ premieres July 9 on Freeform before streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
