Tyler Perry‘s hit Netflix series ‘Beauty in Black‘ is officially gearing up for its third season, with fans now counting down to the show’s return next month.

Created, written, directed and executive produced by Perry, the series follows Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams), whose difficult journey takes an unexpected turn when she becomes entangled with wealthy businesswoman Mallory (Crystle Stewart). After rising from the margins to secure her place within the powerful Bellarie family, Kimmie finds herself navigating a dangerous world filled with secrets and revenge.

Season 3 will see Kimmie forced into an uneasy partnership with Mallory as a brutal family conflict threatens to destroy the empire from within.

With a star-studded cast including Amber Reign Smith, Debbi Morgan, Richard Lawson and Terrell Carter, the next instalment promises even more drama.

Alongside the premiere announcement, first-look images tease another chapter packed with betrayal, power plays and shocking twists.

Season 3 officially premieres on August 27.
