Tyler Perry is taking audiences back down the aisle with the first look at ‘Why Did I Get Married Again?’

Set to premiere on Netflix on September 9, the latest installment in the beloved marriage franchise reunites familiar faces and welcomes new ones for a fresh chapter centered on love, legacy, and the lessons passed from one generation to the next.

As reported, Perry writes, directs, produces, and stars in the film, which sees Marcus and Angela’s daughter preparing to tie the knot.

Back in the mix are Jill Scott, Richard T. Jones, Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Lamman Rucker, and Sharon Leal, while Taraji P. Henson joins the ensemble as Roselyn, the mother of the groom.

Per the logline, the reunion quickly reminds the couples that while life has changed, old patterns may not be far behind. And with their children now reflecting many of their own choices, the group is forced to revisit the age-old question that started it all.

The film also stars Armani Greer, Everett Osborne, Da’Vinchi, Laya Deleon Hayes, Jaden Michael, Charles L. Smith II, Derrick A. King, and Sydney Winbush.
