Tyga responds to Doja Cat over AI criticismTyga has responded after Doja Cat took direct aim at his use of artificial intelligence on new album ‘$TARFACE.’

After the ‘Paint the Town Red’ performer branded her former collaborator a “pen*s” for embracing AI on the project, Tyga returned serve with a pointed observation of his own.

During a livestream, Doja made her stance abundantly clear:

“Nobody asked me anything about Tyga, but I felt like saying this. Tyga is a penis for making an AI album.”

Asked about the remarks during an appearance on ‘TMZ Live,’ the rapper appeared amused rather than offended.

“Listen, I love Doja, but she made a demonic album. But I still love her.”

The exchange carries an added layer given that the pair previously collaborated on ‘Juicy’ and ‘Freaky Deaky.’

Tyga’s embrace of AI has become a major talking point throughout the ‘$TARFACE’ rollout. As previously reported, the 36-year-old acknowledged employing the technology to help generate ’80s-inspired synths and guitar solos, while stressing that the lyrics and vocals are entirely his own.

“It’s no different than when Auto-Tune came out. Some people were opposed to it, but real artists took it and used it.”

The debate intensified after ‘$TARFACE’ missed the Billboard 200 and received a rare 0.0 score from Pitchfork.

Doja, meanwhile, has been especially vocal about generative AI, previously declaring “F*ck AI for real” after purported leaks falsely attributed to her surfaced online.

Clearly, the debate is far from over.
