Netflix has unleashed the trailer for its upcoming docuseries ‘TYSON’, centered on former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. But that’s not all the former boxer is bringing to the platform. He’ll also be taking center stage in a stand-up special.

The four-part docuseries chronicles Tyson’s chaotic beginnings and meteoric rise to worldwide fame. Per the synopsis:

“[TYSON] peels back the curtain on Mike Tyson’s explosive life, from a brutal Brooklyn childhood and a meteoric rise to heavyweight glory to the addiction, jail time, public breakdowns, and infamous ear bite that almost ended it all. Told unfiltered in Tyson’s own words, with never-before-seen material and rare access to his family, friends, and foes, it’s an intimate portrait of greatness, collapse, and a man still confronting the cost of his legacy.”

Each of the four episodes will run for one hour.

Tyson is also set to debut his own stand-up special, ‘Mike Tyson: Return of the Mike,’ on November 3 on Netflix. It will mark the ‘Hangover’ actor’s first return to the stage since his 2013 show ‘Undisputed Truth.’

‘TYSON’ premieres on October 13 on Netflix.
