Over a year after BET+ announced the official renewal of its original breakout comedy ‘Average Joe,’ the streamer – under its new branded partnership with Paramount+ – has finally lifted the lid on the season 2 trailer of the Deon Cole-led action-comedy.

The eight-episode affair, slated for a global premiere on August 19, will hit fans with two episodes at launch then follow with weekly episodes every Wednesday.

Claiming the title of the #1 scripted comedy-drama series on BET+ in the week of its season 1 opening in 2023, fans and critics alike are undoubtedly anticipating the show will repeat the feat with the mid-August unveiling of its sophomore run.

Ahead of the ‘Average’ return, look inside for an appetizer of what’s been loaded up next for “The Washingtons” and “The Montgomerys.”
