Weeks of Carson Daly‘s rumored exit from NBC’s ‘The Voice‘ after serving 16 years as its host were confirmed on Tuesday (August 4) with the official announcement he would be replaced by none other than EMMY-winning actress, singer, and game show host KeKe Palmer.

Closing the book on 30 seasons and over a decade-and-a-half as host of ‘The Voice,’ Daly took to Instagram on Tuesday to congratulate Palmer for accepting the gig.

“I’m so grateful she carved out the time in her busy career to help us out. We’re all big fans & welcome her to the family,” he wrote in the post also referring to her as a “triple threat queen” and the “perfect” person for the role.

Carson also confirmed he’s not completely stepping away from the reality singing competition as he’s signed on to be a producer for the next season christened ‘The Voice: Celebrity.’

Additionally, music and acting icon Queen Latifah, Jonas Brothers star Joe Jonas, and Riley Green have signed on to be coaches.

Before ‘The Voice: Celebrity’ makes its 2027 debut, however, season 30 of the series will launch on September 21 and feature Green, Latifah, Kelly Clarkson, and Adam Levine as coaches.
