‘Children of Blood and Bone‘ is bringing the heat both on-screen and off.

Director Gina Prince-Bythewood has revealed that Grammy winner Tems has executive produced the soundtrack for the forthcoming fantasy epic, while Burna Boy serves as executive music consultant.

Speaking during a cast panel for the Paramount film’s rollout in New York, Prince-Bythewood praised Tems for crafting an “extraordinary” soundtrack, revealing:

“We’ve got three new Tems tracks. We’ve got Burna, we’ve got Fireboy, we’ve got BNXN, we’ve got Ayra… the soundtrack is so amazing.”

She also noted that Tems is making history by becoming the first woman to executive produce a soundtrack of this scale.

One of the songs already released is Ayra Starr & Wizkid‘s ‘Gimme Dat ‘; Starr also features in the movie, making her acting debut.

If the film is as epic as its musical line-up, audiences are in for an unforgettable experience.
