Tamar Braxton and Kandi may have kept things cordial at the Essence Festival, but it looks like the Xscape star still has her eye on their long-running feud.

Burruss attended the Essence Black Women in Music Honors over the weekend, where she was recognized alongside Brandy, Monica, and Missy Elliott.

During a group photo moment, Tamar Braxton slithered her way to the stage to join the picture.

Before stepping in, she briefly spoke to Kandi, and many quickly noticed Kandi appeared to roll her eyes.

The singer later seemingly confirmed the moment in a new Instagram post with the caption of “Giving side-eye while keeping it classy” – fueling even more conversation online.

The two have been at odds for years for several reasons. One of the biggest points of contention came when Tamar claimed Kandi lied about her on national television and has since called for a public apology.

According to TMZ, the tension dates back to 2017 when Xscape toured with Tamar and Monica, with reports of behind-the-scenes issues throughout the tour. 

The pair also clashed during their time on ‘Celebrity Big Brother.’

For now, it doesn’t appear that reconciliation is in the cards. Instead, it seems the two are simply keeping things cordial whenever they’re in the same room.
