New music is officially on the horizon for Sam Smith, and it sounds like fans should prepare for an emotional ride.

The Grammy-winning star has announced their brand new single, ‘My Guy.’

Heading to social media to make the announcement, Smith told fans how special the record is to them, sharing:

“A song that I feel I have been waiting a lifetime to write and sing. Written with beautiful friends on a summer’s day in New York, this one fell out of the sky. In this sometimes cold and distant world, I hope you can feel the love and the closeness of this recording. I tried to capture the glow and the warmth of love in this one, it makes me cry, maybe it will make you feel a little love too.”

The release follows recent standalone tracks including ‘Love Is A Stillness’ and ‘To Be Free’ while fans continue to await details on what appears to be the singer’s next full-length musical chapter.

‘My Guy’ arrives June 24.
