Kim Zolciak has cleared one major hurdle in her increasingly contentious divorce from Kroy Biermann.

According to TMZ, a Georgia judge ordered Zolciak to pay $2,535 owed to the guardian ad litem appointed in the former couple’s divorce proceedings.

The guardian was tasked with speaking to both parents and their four minor children as the court weighs the increasingly bitter custody dispute.

Zolciak had reportedly been warned that failing to settle the balance by next month could lead to incarceration. However, sources say the 48-year-old paid the amount in full on July 14, removing that possibility for now.

The payment arrives against the backdrop of serious allegations from both sides. As reported, Zolciak has accused Biermann of physically mistreating their children and claimed the guardian failed to give her concerns sufficient weight.

The former NFL player has denied her wider narrative and alleged that the children have instead endured emotional abuse from their mother.

It marks the latest twist in a breakup that has remained volatile since Biermann refiled for divorce in 2023 following the pair’s short-lived reconciliation.

Their adult daughter Brielle Biermann recently added another layer to the family divide, revealing that she has not spoken with Kroy for some time and is unsure whether he will attend her forthcoming wedding.
