Quavo is facing renewed legal pressure. Specifically, a Vegas valet has filed to collect a $1.1 million judgment in the rapper’s home state of Georgia.

The case dates back to 2018. Antonio Henry, a valet at the Encore Hotel & Casino, accused Quavo of slapping him in the face. Henry claimed he was simply trying to stop a fight when the incident occurred.

Henry subsequently filed an assault and battery lawsuit in 2020. A judge eventually awarded him over $650,000 in damages. However, with attorneys’ fees and interest, the judgment has now ballooned to $1.1 million.

For years, Henry received no payments. Consequently, he has now filed to have the judgment recognized in Georgia, where Quavo resides.

This move would make it significantly easier for Henry to collect what he is owed. Quavo has consistently maintained that he did nothing wrong.

The original lawsuit alleged that Henry sustained both physical and emotional injuries from the encounter. The valet has been adamant about seeking damages for nearly a decade.

Now that the judgment has been filed in Georgia, Quavo could be forced to pay much sooner than later.

The rapper has not yet publicly responded to the latest development.
