Prince fans are getting another glimpse inside the legendary Vault. Specifically, the late artist’s estate announced a new rarities collection titled ‘Timeless.’

Full story below…

The 10-song collection spans from 1977 through the year of his death, 2016. Consequently, it offers a rare snapshot of Prince’s creative evolution across four decades.

The album arrives on August 28 via Sony‘s Legacy Recordings. Furthermore, the estate released the first single, ‘Stone,’ a previously unreleased recording from spring 1995.

The announcement coincides with Prince Celebration 2026, taking place June 3–7 across Paisley Park and downtown Minneapolis. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has officially proclaimed June 1–7 as “Prince Celebration Week.” The city skyline will illuminate in purple on June 6.

Earlier this year, the estate previewed Timeless with the release of “With This Tear” on April 2. Prince originally recorded that track at Paisley Park in November 1991 as a complete solo performance.

The tracklisting includes ‘I Am You’ from 1977, ‘Tick Tick Bang’ from 1981, ‘Heaven’ from 1985, and ‘How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore? (Live)’ from 2016.

Timeless will be available in multiple physical configurations. These include a D2C-exclusive limited-edition Purple Marble Vinyl, standard black vinyl, and CD.

The album marks a return to the reissue series the estate had slowed in recent years.
