Hulu confirmed that the show, created by Dan Fogelman, was always envisioned as a three-season arc.

The series has followed Agent Xavier Collins, played by Brown, navigating life inside and beyond a bunker housing survivors after a near-apocalyptic event.

Season two sees Xavier venturing outside in search of his wife Teri, while tensions continue to rise within the bunker itself as new secrets begin to unravel.

“We know what the end is, and it’s an end that would make it very difficult to make a season four come afterward.”

The ensemble cast includes Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, and Enuka Okuma, among others, with recurring appearances from names like James Marsden and Shailene Woodley.

The announcement arrives as season two continues to roll out, keeping viewers locked into its high-stakes, post-apocalyptic world.
