Nivea has revealed that she is undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year.

While opening up about the deeply personal health battle, the R&B singer struck a hopeful tone and shared how the diagnosis has encouraged her to move forward with goals she had previously placed on hold.

During an appearance on ‘The Cadillac Chronicles’, the 44-year-old directly disclosed her diagnosis before offering an encouraging update on her treatment.

“Well, first of all, I was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year, and I’m so grateful to God.”

Nivea went on to explain that she has been receiving treatment and that her progress has been positive so far.

“I’ve been going through treatment and everything is going great so far, and I expect it to continue. Amen, amen, amen!”

The mother of four said the experience has placed life into sharper perspective, inspiring her to embrace new opportunities, spend meaningful time with her children, and reconnect with music.

She has also enrolled in school to study audio engineering, a longtime ambition that she is now actively pursuing alongside her return to the stage.

Rather than allowing the diagnosis to bring her plans to a halt, Nivea said she is approaching this chapter with gratitude, faith, and a renewed determination to do the things that matter most to her.
