Over 20 years after Ashanti sampled Isaac Hayes‘ unforgettable classic ‘The Look of Love‘ for her 2003 top 10 smash ‘Rain on Me,’ the ‘Chapter II’ tune is now acting as the sample for hit rapper Tee Grizzley‘s new song ‘Rain.’

The latest taste of offerings from his September 25-due new album ‘They Forgot,’ the tune also features Tee’s frequest collaborator Skilla Baby (with whom he’s shared a slew of musical tag teams over the past 5 years including songs ‘Dropped the Lo,’ ‘B&E Pt. 1,’ ‘Gorgeous,’ ‘Controversy 2,‘ and more).

“She want a G6; I’m G7 / Blow gas, but the Rolls’ electric / Call me Hurricane Harvey / You can’t see the flow / Sh-t hectic,” raps Tee in the new song’s strip club-inspired music video.

And though Ashanti does not feature in the music video, her prominent vocals throughout the song more than make up for her absence.
