As previously reported, Pop diva Kylie Minogue recently stunned her dedicated fans (affectionately called #Lovers) with the unveiling of the new song ‘These Alarms’ – a collaboration with Irish Rock band Snow Patrol.

Easily one of the year’s most unexpected musical tag teams, the tune was reportedly inspired by admiration of the Aussie music Queen by the group’s frontman Gary Lightbody 

“As a huge Kylie fan, I originally wrote ‘These Alarms’ with her in mind…All the way through the recording process, the song was simply called ‘KYLIE.’ But when we finished the song, we quickly realised something huge was missing from it. We all knew it was Kylie’s voice that was the missing piece,” said Lightbody.

The band’s first release under their new deal with BMG, ‘Alarms’ was recently gifted the visual treatment via a performance clip filmed during a concert at London’s Crystal Palace Park.
