Fans of Larry June are well-aware of the steady buzz the California-based rapper has been building since first coming onto the Hip-Hop scene with his debut album in 2010.

Years of grinding paid of last month when his latest LP – the July 17-released ‘Who Coppin’ – catapulted onto the Billboard 200 recently at #29, marking the highest rung he’s reached on the tally to date.

And while the critically acclaimed set boasts guest appearances from big names like Jay Versace, Musiq Soulchild, Swizz Beatz, and more, a clear standout comes courtesy of fan-favorite track ‘California Dream‘ featuring R&B songbird Jhene Aiko (whom he is also reportedly dating).

“You say you really need a change / Lookin’ for somebody that’s gon’ hold it down / Lookin’ for somebody that’s gon’ stay around,” she sings over a Cardo Got Wings-produced chorus.
