Destin Conrad is continuing to prove he’s one of music’s most exciting rising forces.

Fresh from the success of his acclaimed ‘wHIMSY!‘ era, the GRAMMY-nominated singer has unveiled brand new single ‘Nervous, ‘ the first taste of an upcoming reggae-inspired project.

Produced by longtime collaborator Louie Lastic, the track sees Conrad lean into a breezy dancehall groove while fusing the smooth R&B textures fans have come to know him for. Arriving alongside the release of the single, the singer dropped a vibrant new visual.

Speaking on the track, the ‘Kissing in Public‘ hitmaker shared the record allowed him to tap into his Jamaican roots, saying:

“Flowing between R&B and jazz inspired me to keep being curious about how far I can expand my sound,” Destin shares. “‘NERVOUS’ carries that same off-the-cuff freedom, so it was an opportunity to really stand in and own that part of me. It feels good to honor my Jamaican roots and make something fun that completely challenges what people might expect.”

With a sold-out tour set to continue July 17, major festival dates and unstoppable momentum, Conrad’s breakout year shows no signs of slowing down.
