Nemesis is officially coming back for more.

Netflix has renewed the breakout drama for a second season following its explosive debut and fast-rising global success.

Led by showrunner, creator, and executive producer Courtney A. Kemp alongside co-creator and executive producer Tani Marole, the series has quickly established itself as one of the streamer’s buzziest new dramas.

Season 1 centered on two men on opposite sides of the law, pairing an expert criminal with a brilliant police detective in a high-stakes story packed with action, family drama, and questions of identity.

The eight-episode first season clearly struck a chord, with Netflix pointing to the show’s far-reaching audience response as a key driver behind the renewal.

Showrunner/Creator/Executive Producer Kemp said in a statement:
