Before Ne-Yo saddles up to ride his forthcoming Country album ‘Highway 79‘ to the top of the genre’s charts in July, the R&B hitmaker is giving on-the-fence fans yet another taste of what the LP is set to offer ahead of its arrival.

Following the warmly received previous singles ‘Ms. Tundra,’ ‘Simple Things’ and ‘Up, Out, & Gone,’ the GRAMMY winner (born Shaffer Smith) continues to showcase his sonic versatility by lifting the lid on new song ‘Thinking What I’m Thinking.’

“Are you thinking what I’m thinking? / We ain’t been on the same page for the last little minute / Both moving we only halfways in it,” he sings over Chuck Harmony and Claude Kelly production.

Ahead of the July 10 delivery of ‘Highway,’ roll inside to hear ‘Thinking’ in full.

The twangy cut arrives not long after Smith – who is hot on the international tour circuit with Akon – gave the tune’s predecessor, ‘Ms. Tundra,’ the live treatment aboard Amazon Music’s British platform ‘+44.’
