After winning top TV ratings for Lifetime with her 2024 holiday film ‘A Very Merry Beautiful Salon,’ veteran actress Tia Mowry re-teams with the women’s network to repeat the feat with her new movie ‘Single Black Tenant.’

Inspired by actual events, the Stacey N. Harding-directed ‘Tenant’ tells the chilling tale of a down-on-her-luck woman whose pursuit of affordable living finally sees her land an apartment but at an unexpected expense: she believes her neighbor is trying to frame her for murder.

Delivered as part of Lifetime’s ‘Ripped From The Headlines’ slate, Mowry – who also serves as the film’s executive producer – leads a cast of familiar faces like Natasha Burnett, Garfield Wilson, Gigi Saul Guerrero, and more.
