Keke Palmer is the very definition of booked and busy. The multihyphenate stars in ‘Good Fortune’ alongside Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, and Keanu Reeves. And with the first trailer unlocked, it appears that it will deliver laughs with a deeper message.

The film follows Gabriel (Reeves), who becomes the guardian angel to Arj (Ansari).

Arj is a man who’s thrown his hands up on life after it looks like nothing is going his way. So, in an attempt to show him that money doesn’t solve everything, Gabriel swaps Arj’s life with a wealthy man, Jeff (Seth Rogen). When the swap occurs, Jeff has to walk in Arj’s shoes and is forced to do the same odd jobs he did.

Lessons are learned in a circular capacity.

Written and directed by the ‘Master of None’ actor, Palmer stars as a potential love interest, as does Sandra Oh (Martha).

The project will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September and in theaters on October 17.
