Issa Rae is adding another major win to her already stacked résumé.

The nine-time Emmy nominee has officially signed a three year first-look film and television production deal with Paramount.

Per the pact, Rae will develop new projects in collaboration with Paramount’s film and TV leadership, continuing her mission to tell bold, culturally resonant stories.

Speaking with Deadline, the ‘Insecure’ creator expressed excitement about the move, saying:

“I’m so looking forward to starting this next chapter with the incredible team at Paramount to tell stories for and by the diverse communities that have supported my work over the years.”

From launching Hoorae to producing acclaimed series and landing roles in major box office hits, Rae’s momentum shows no signs of slowing. With Paramount now in the mix, she is placed alongside other top-tier talent recently aligned with the studio.
