Milagro Gramz’s Bid to Delay $75K Payment to Megan Thee Stallion Denied By Judge

Megan Thee Stallion trots to yet another victory in the legal battle with blogger Milagro Gramz (undoubtedly much to the Web personality’s dismay).

Barely two weeks after Gramz (born Milagro Cooper) made headlines for pleading with the courts to grant her a pause on paying the $75,000 judgment she owes Stallion after being found guilty of defamation, the blogger has learned the bid was rejected.

In new court documents that have hit the Web, a federal judge ruled Cooper failed to provide adequate proof of why the judgment should be put on hold.

As such, it will remain in place and will only be reversed upon the conclusion of a successful appeal.

“[Gramz] merely argues that her appeal concerns ‘significant issues . . . regarding post-trial rulings, the reinstatement of the defamation verdict, and other issues,’ without explaining why those matters are likely to resolve in her favor… Even if the Court considered those arguments, Defendant offers merely generalized disagreement with the jury’s verdict and the Court’s post-trial rulings — which is not a showing that she is likely to succeed on appeal,” wrote Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga.

As reported here, the original ruling stems from Megan’s lawsuit that claims Gramz willfully participated in a smear campaign to spread false information about her following her 2020 shooting by fellow rapper Tory Lanez.

The blogger was found liable for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress by a jury and ordered to pay $75,000 in damages.

Despite arguing the judgment would cause “undue financial hardship,” Gramz – according to this new ruling – remains responsible for satisfying the condition unless a higher court intervenes.  Reports have indicated she is hard-at-work mounting an appeal.

At writing, Megan has not spoken publicly about Judge Altonaga’s decision.
