Pamela Warner has reached a settlement with the guardians of late actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner‘s daughter over her inheritance.

According to TMZ, the agreement has yet to receive court approval. Malcolm’s widow, Tenisha Warner, has not publicly weighed in on the settlement.

Pamela also pushed back against recent claims that she sought to prevent her granddaughter from receiving financial support.

“Recent claims that Pamela sought to prevent her granddaughter from receiving financial support are untrue.”

She maintained that Malcolm had been deliberate in his estate planning, with his trust divided between his mother, father, and sister. Pamela further claimed that the actor made separate provisions worth millions of dollars for his wife and daughter.

She added:

“Pamela has since reached a settlement with her granddaughter’s representatives which is subject to court approval. The agreement provides for Malcolm’s daughter to receive the majority remainder of the Trust and Estate.”

The proposed deal is said to cover the child’s college tuition while also granting her a share of the estate. Pamela maintains that the agreement serves her granddaughter’s best interests and will allow the pair to maintain a relationship.

The development comes after Tenisha sued Pamela last month, alleging that her daughter had been wrongfully excluded from Malcolm’s estate.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner died aged 54 following an accidental drowning in July 2025.
