Macklemore is putting a seven-figure sum behind his support for Palestine, and the move has been followed by a multimillion-dollar commitment involving Ed Sheeran and Robert Kraft.

Days after being removed from the ‘Loop Tour’ following his ‘Free Palestine’ remarks, the rapper has announced that his entire net earnings from the trek will be donated to Palestinian relief efforts. And Kraft has now responded with news of an even larger pledge.

Macklemore is donating $1 million to six organizations: Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, HEAL Palestine, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians, UNRWA USA National Committee, and Anera.

Speaking on the move, he said:

“I will be donating the entire $1 million of my net earnings from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour to six organizations working directly to support the Palestinian people.”

The 43-year-old also challenged Kraft, who owns Gillette Stadium, to match the sum.

Hours later, Kraft revealed that an even bigger commitment was already in motion. In a statement reported by Variety, he said Sheeran had contacted him earlier that day and asked him to match the singer’s own $2 million humanitarian donation.

“Ed called me and asked me to commit $2 million to match his donation to aid in the region to fight this humanitarian crisis.”

That brings the three men’s announced commitments to $5 million. However, unlike Macklemore, Sheeran and Kraft have not yet specified which organizations will receive their funds.

The development marks the latest turn in a rapidly evolving story. As TGJ reported, Macklemore previously named Kraft while detailing the circumstances surrounding his tour exit. Sheeran later insisted the decision “was not mine,” while FINNEAS and other support acts subsequently withdrew.
