‘Love Island USA’ season 7 stars Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe have reportedly ended their relationship after one year, according to People magazine.

The fan-favorite couple has gone their separate ways, though a source told the outlet that the two remain friends and plan to stay close.

Speculation about their relationship began after Olandria’s recent interview with Cosmopolitan, where she addressed the public’s fascination with their romance.

“Why does it matter if me and Nic are together? Even when we were at Coachella, people in the comments were like, ‘Oh, I just needed proof that they saw each other this week.’ Why are you so invested in people that don’t know you?”

She continued:

“I’m never that invested in someone’s relationship, and I’m not living for the internet. I don’t always post what people want me to or always do what people want me to do.”

Since leaving the villa, both Olandria and Nic have capitalized on the success of their time on the show. Olandria has secured multiple brand partnerships, including deals with Barbie, Poppi, and Brandon Blackwood. Meanwhile, Nic has continued to build his career as a DJ, booking gigs and further developing his craft in the music world.

Although the couple’s relationship has come to an end, it appears both are continuing to thrive professionally, proving that while their relationship may be over, neither of their careers will be slowing down.
