Lil Wayne is opening up about his recent tour struggles. The rapper revealed that health issues, not negligence, caused his absence from the Bangor, Maine, show last week.

During a live stream over the weekend, Wayne addressed the noise surrounding his no-show. He explained that he is dealing with epilepsy and that seizures remain a struggle in his life. These health issues ultimately kept him from performing.

The rapper had previously apologized to fans and announced a rescheduled date for July 28.

In addition to his health revelation, Wayne also confirmed that he and his girlfriend, Madi Cannon, have broken up. He said he ended the relationship because he felt like a “burden.”

Wayne was also two hours late to his show in Gilford, New Hampshire, on Friday, adding to the discourse.

He is slated to return to the road on July 16 in Des Moines, Iowa. Meanwhile, ‘Tha Carter VII’ remains on the horizon.
