Kim Zolciak’s teenage son Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr. has been a firm fixture in headlines after his shocking arrest.

And while he has been granted bond today,  the court hearing that secured his release also brought a startling new set of allegations into public view.

Prosecutors claim videos discovered on the 15-year-old’s phone showed sexual encounters involving a family member who was under the age of 12.

And his lawyer is strongly challenging how the prior juvenile matter has been characterized.

Per TMZ, Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy told a Georgia court that investigators allegedly uncovered multiple videos involving KJ and the relative.

Prosecutors further alleged that the recordings included penetrative sex and “predatory, derogatory” language. It remains unclear how old KJ was when the footage was allegedly recorded.

The revelation emerged during proceedings connected to the separate case that saw KJ arrested last month after a female classmate accused him of sexually assaulting her at a gym in April.

KJ has denied those allegations.

His attorney Jason Sheffield also pushed back forcefully against prosecutors’ depiction of the earlier juvenile matter, telling TMZ:

“The characterizations made in court regarding the prior juvenile matter involving KJ Biermann grossly misrepresent both the facts and the ultimate resolution of that case.”

Sheffield described what occurred as “inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers” and stressed that the matter did not result in an adjudication for statutory rape, sexual intercourse, or a comparable offense.

Meanwhile, a judge granted KJ a $200,000 bond.

The conditions are extensive. He must live with Zolciak, attend school virtually, wear an electronic monitor, stay off social media and cell phones, and have no contact with anyone aged 16 or younger, a restriction that reportedly also encompasses his younger siblings.

His legal team is additionally seeking to have the current case moved from adult court to juvenile court.

The proceedings come amid an already turbulent chapter for the Biermann family, whose long-running domestic and custody disputes have continued to play out publicly.
