The reported order directs proceeds from the rapper’s music catalog toward support payments and other expenses amid their ongoing divorce dispute.
Kevin Gates’ estranged wife, Dreka Gates, is set to receive more than $1 million from his music catalog sale under a reported court order.
TMZ reported Wednesday, Oct. 21, that Dreka is allocated $929,341.50 for child and spousal support, plus a direct $150,000 payment. That brings her reported share to $1,079,341.50.
The reported order directs proceeds from the catalog sale into a Morgan Stanley account overseen by the chief financial officer of Kevin Gates’ record label, Bread Winner Alumni. Certified public accountant William Duerksen will also be authorized on the account.
Gates is allocated $538,798 upfront and $225,000 in monthly payments beginning in October. Another $125,000 is designated for Dreka’s attorneys, $100,000 for her accountant and $103,000 for a mediation service.
The reports do not identify the buyer or disclose the total sale price. The order does not establish that the couple’s divorce has been finalized.
Dreka filed for divorce in July 2025, citing irreconcilable differences after nearly 10 years of marriage. They share two children, Islah and Khaza. She previously managed Gates’ career and helped build their music business.
In October 2025, Dreka requested $73,467 per month in child and spousal support. In court filings, she alleged that Gates stopped paying certain family expenses in 2021, including school tuition and property taxes.
Gates later accused Dreka and members of her family of stealing money from him. Her attorney, Marty Singer, rejected the allegations as “completely false and fabricated.” Gates also publicly challenged whether their marriage was legally binding.
The newly reported order specifies how money from the catalog sale is to be divided. It leaves unresolved the couple’s broader divorce dispute, including questions about their finances and family arrangements.
