Kandi Burruss is done pretending.

Tamar Braxton recently told the world there was no bad blood between them. Days later, however, the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ alum hit her own podcast and torched that claim in six words.

How the Kandi Burruss and Tamar Braxton Feud Escalated

The current round traces back to Essence Festival weekend. There, an onstage exchange between the two at the Black Women in Music ceremony went viral for all the wrong reasons.

Braxton got ahead of it first. Speaking to Lore’l on The Morning Hustle on July 29, she framed her approach as plain courtesy. Furthermore, she insisted she holds nothing against Burruss.

“I do not want beef in my life.”

She then went further. In fact, she suggested whoever filmed and circulated the clip was chasing attention. Moreover, she added that the only adversary she claims is the devil.

Burruss did not wait for a podcast to swing back. When TJB posted the interview, she dropped straight into the comments. There, she blew up the peace claim entirely. Specifically, she alleged that Braxton called her out of her name at a party days earlier.

“I can’t do the fake sh*t.”

She had been signalling as much for days. Earlier, she reshared a Carlos King interview featuring Jason Lee. In it, Lee alleged that Braxton once tried to use his platform against her. Burruss then captioned the post with a pointed line about being cast as the mean girl.

By July 31, subtlety was gone entirely.

“I do not like that b***h.”

Burruss branded Braxton fake. Additionally, she said she had zero intention of performing warmth for a room full of cameras. She also accused Braxton of misrepresenting their history and gaslighting her in public.

Next, she shut down the theory that she cropped Braxton out of her Essence post. Instead, she explained, she only shared images of that evening’s honourees. She also questioned why Braxton climbed onstage at all, since she was not among them.

Then came the receipt. Burruss recounted a later run-in at an Atlanta party. There, she says, she paid Braxton dust on purpose. As a result, Braxton had nothing to take to the next interview.

Where Things Stand Now

Burruss says she tried to squash it years back. Since then, however, she has stopped caring. Instead, she pointed to her own ventures. She also suggested that Braxton pulls her biggest numbers when she is discussing other people.

Meanwhile, Vivica A. Fox has already pulled up a chair. The actress cheerfully declared herself entertained by the whole thing. Braxton, notably, has said nothing since the podcast dropped.
