Jay-Z is speaking up and out.

The mogul covers the latest issue of GQ and opens up about the infamous rape lawsuit that’s since been dropped, and how that affected him greatly.

Candidly speaking with GQ, the ‘Otis’ MC reveals that 2025 was rough for him, and these allegations made him very upset. He expresses:

“That s*** took a lot out of me. I was angry. I haven’t been that angry in a long time … uncontrollable anger.”

Per the rapper, he was raised on the street code of ‘no women and no kids.’ ‘He made clear that he takes that code very seriously, which is why he challenged the false claims strongly.

For background, the Jane Doe accuser alleged that she was raped by both Diddy and Jay-Z when she was 13 years old. Then, she later filed documents in federal court to voluntarily dismiss the case with prejudice. This means she can’t refile the case.

The case dismissal came after there were several inconsistencies in her allegations. Jay then sued the accuser and her lawyer for defamation following this.

Expanding, the ’99 Problems’ rapper was grateful for the dismissal and the truth being revealed. He says:

“:It meant a lot to me. I took that really hard. And I knew that we was going to walk through that because, first of all, it’s not true. And the truth, at the end of the day, still reigns supreme.”
