Jamie Foxx isn’t slowing down anytime soon, as the star is set to lead the upcoming Prime Video action thriller ‘Deadlocked.’

The ‘Ray’ actor will play a grieving former Marine who is summoned for jury duty. However, things take a deadly turn when the defendant’s daughter transforms the high-profile trial into a hostage situation in a desperate bid to free her father.

Foxx’s character is forced to tap into his military training in order to survive.

The film follows the comedian’s most recent movie, ‘Back in Action,’ which co-starred Cameron Diaz and premiered on Netflix.

He’ll also return to the streamer with ‘Fight for ’84,’ an Olympic boxing drama based on the true story of the coach who led the 1984 US Olympic Boxing team.

The Nikhil Bhat-directed flick does not yet have a release date.
