The incident occurred on Friday, June 26, during his hit ‘As It Was.‘ Styles attempted his signature “whale” move, where he sprays water into the air, but appeared to inhale some of it.

Videos circulating online show the singer coughing and dropping to his back on the stage. He lay there for approximately 17 seconds, clutching his chest and trying to catch his breath.

Styles reassured the crowd shortly after getting back on his feet. According to a source who spoke to TMZ, he “immediately laughed off the moment and ran off stage without any sign of injury.”

“It just went down the wrong hole. It’s all good, I’m good.”

The incident occurred amid a record-breaking UK heatwave, with London temperatures reaching 97°F (36°C). Styles returned to the stage the following evening and continued performing without any visible issues.

The London concerts are part of his Together, Together global residency in support of his album ‘Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.’
