Giveon Announces ‘Dear Beloved Tour’ After New Album Soared to Billboard 200’s Top 10 with His BIGGEST First-Week Sales Yet

While the top 10 rush of Hip-Hop and Pop albums dominated the week’s Billboard 200 news, Giveon still managed to wave the flag for R&B thanks to the handsome arrival of his anxiously awaited sophomore album ‘Beloved.’

Released July 11, ‘Beloved’ – Giveon’s sophomore album – entered the updated Billboard 200 at #8 thanks to total first-week sales of 44,000.

Besting the #11 arrival of its predecessor, 2022’s ‘Give or Take,’ the new LP – launched on the wings of singles ‘Twenties‘ and ‘I Can Tell‘ – marks a milestone for its GRAMMY-nominated owner as the biggest first-week sum he’s collected since his 2020 debut project.

‘Beloved’ comes as the second trip of his short career to the Billboard 200’s top 10 following the #5 peak of his 2021 compilation album ‘When It’s All Said & Done…Take Time.’

The Billboard 200 news was delivered just days before Giveon took to Instagram to announce his new headlining jaunt in support of the album: the ‘Dear Beloved Tour.’

Kicking off in Seattle on October 1, the North American trek will see him bring his brigade of beloved R&B hits to major cities like Vancouver, Atlanta, Toronto, Boston, Las Vegas, Houston, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping up in New York City on November 6.

Special guests include Free Nationals, Charlotte Day Wilson, and Sasha Keable.
