Following That Grape Juice’s initial look at the film, the gripping preview offers the clearest glimpse yet of Erivo as Tessa.

The ambitious barrister has built a formidable career defending the accused, including men charged with sexual assault. However, her life and convictions are turned upside down when she experiences a sexual assault herself and must navigate the legal system from the other side.

Based on Suzie Miller‘s award-winning play, ‘Prima Facie’ is directed by Susanna White and also stars Daniel Ings, Toheeb Jimoh, and Noma Dumezweni.

The film arrives in UK and Irish cinemas on November 13.
