Tyler Perry is getting the gang back together, and this time Netflix is offering an even bigger look at what awaits.

An extended trailer for ‘Why Did I Get Married Again?’ has landed alongside new key art and images, teasing a reunion packed with familiar personalities, fresh faces, and relationship drama.

Set against the backdrop of Lake Como, Italy, the latest chapter reunites Mike, Sheila, Troy, Terry, Diane, Marcus, and Angela as they gather for the destination wedding of Marcus and Angela’s daughter.

Yet, in true ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ fashion, the celebration soon provides plenty for the longtime friends to unpack. As the next generation begins displaying some very familiar traits, the couples are forced to confront the examples they have set and how much, or how little, has changed over the years.

Jill Scott, Richard T. Jones, Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Lamman Rucker, and Sharon Leal reprise their roles, while Taraji P. Henson joins the mix as Roselyn, mother of the groom.

The new generation includes Armani Greer, Everett Osborne, Da’Vinchi, Laya DeLeon Hayes, Jaden Michael, Charles L. Smith II, Derrick A. King, and Sydney Winbush.

Written and directed by Perry, the film extends his flourishing Netflix partnership following releases including ‘Straw’ and ‘Madea’s Destination Wedding.’

‘Why Did I Get Married Again?’ premieres globally on September 9.
